Your First Appointment

How Do I Schedule an Appointment?

Just follow these 3 easy steps:
  1. Gather relevant information such as your insurance card, doctors prescription (if you have one) and your schedule.
  2. Give our office a call at (509) 413-1630. We will schedule you with one of our highly trained therapists. If we are billing insurance, we will need:
    • The insurance ID or policy number
    • The policy holder’s name and date of birth
    • The insurance company’s phone number
  3. We will call your insurance company and verify your coverage. Depending on your plan, we may need to request a prescription or get authorization. We are happy to work with you and your insurance company to make sure there are no nasty billing surprises.

  4. Optionally – Fill out our quick Appointment Request form. We’ll call you back to arrange the next steps.

Steps to Take After Your Call:

Fill out the New Patient Intake Paperwork. We can send this to you by snail mail, email or fax – or you can visit the Paperwork & Forms page to download the paperwork. Please fill it out before your first appointment.

What Can I Expect at My First Appointment?

  1. Please finish filling out your New Patient Intake Paperwork. In addition to the intake paperwork, please make sure that you have your prescription (if required), insurance card, and a payment method for your co-pay.
  2. Check in at the front desk. We will collect your co-pay and the New Patient Intake Paperwork. We’ll also take a copy of your insurance card, which will be kept with your records.
  3. The first part of your appointment is an evaluation with the therapist. During the evaluation, you’ll discuss your medical history, and then the therapist will spend some time palpating to search for tissue restrictions and joint dysfunction. This will take up to 30 minutes of your hour-long appointment. The rest of the time will be spent in treatment. At the end of your appointment, the therapist will come up with a treatment plan and home exercise program, if needed.
  4. Come back to the front desk. We’ll scan your home exercises into your chart and print off a list of your future appointments. If in the course of your treatment you have a change of address, contact information or insurance, please notify us as soon as possible.
