BecomE a Patient at Synergy

Most people who end up at Synergy have been somewhere else first. A primary care office, an orthopedist, another PT clinic, sometimes a chiropractor. They show up with a folder of paperwork and the quiet suspicion that this round won’t work either. That’s the type of patient we built the practice around, which changes what the first few steps look like on our end.

3 Easy Steps

Your First Appointment

Please gather what you have: your insurance card, a doctor’s prescription (if applicable), and your availability.

Call us at (509) 413-1630 to schedule with a therapist.

We’ll verify your coverage and handle any needed authorizations.

Beliefs Behind Our Therapy Approach

Most physical therapy practices do one thing: move patients through a protocol until insurance runs out or they feel better enough to stop coming. Synergy was built on a different model. The therapists here are trained across disciplines — physical therapy, occupational therapy, vestibular rehab, pelvic health, neurological recovery — because the body doesn't sort itself into neat billing categories. Neither does a good treatment plan.

Insurances we work with

We’re contracted with most major carriers in the region:

Aetna, Asuris, Blue Cross Blue Shield (including Federal Blue Cross), Cigna, First Choice, Kaiser PPO, Medicare, Premera, Regence, TRICARE, TriWest, the Veterans Administration, and Idaho Medicaid.

If you don’t see your plan listed, call anyway. Benefits are rarely straightforward. We do the verification work before your first appointment so you know the cost before you walk in.

Cash Pay
We see cash-pay patients. Some by preference, some because their plan's PT coverage is thin, some because they want to skip the authorization process entirely. Rates are transparent. Ask at booking and we'll send them before you commit. Our StemWave program, regenerative shockwave therapy, is cash-pay only and offers a $49 intro appointment if you want to evaluate it on its own.
We treat Washington State L&I claims and self-insured employer plans. Your workers' comp coverage is separate from your regular health insurance — we bill the L&I or self-insured carrier directly. Bring your claim number to the first appointment. We coordinate with claims managers and attending providers, document what's required, and keep the return-to-work process moving. Injured workers have been a core patient population here for decades. The paperwork doesn't slow us down.
If you were in a car accident — driver, passenger, pedestrian, or cyclist — physical therapy deemed medically necessary is typically billed through the at-fault driver's liability insurance. We work with State Farm, Progressive, Geico, Allstate, USAA, Liberty Mutual, Farmers, Travelers, American Family, Nationwide, and most others. Bring the claim number and adjuster contact on day one, and we'll handle the billing side. If you carry PIP (personal injury protection) on your own auto policy, we can often bill that in parallel.
