Our Practitioners

Shauna, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist, Owner
|
Shauna is the owner
of Synergy Healthcare. She graduated from University of
Alberta, Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, Department
of Occupational Therapy in 1993. She began her career as
an occupational therapist specializing in traumatic head
injuries. She has also worked in skilled nursing
facilities specializing in long and short term geriatric
rehabilitation. Shauna has been in private practice
since 1998.
Shauna enjoys spending time with her husband, Robin, and
three sons, Ethan, Parker and Sawyer. She also enjoys
traveling, playing the piano, and studying yoga. |

Tish, PT
Physical Therapist

Tish is a Physical
Therapist who specializes in manual therapy. She
graduated from Missouri's St. Louis University in 1989
with a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy.
She began her career as a physical therapist
specializing in orthopedics. Tish has also worked in
Rehab and Traumatic Brain Injury. Her special interests
include movement dysfunction and how it relates to
visceral and fascial restrictions.
Tish loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, biking,
skiing, gardening and creative arts. She is married with
2 children, and a cat. |

Steve, LMP
Massage Therapist

Steve is a
Massage Therapist. He graduated in 2005 from Inland
Massage Institute in Spokane. He began his career
specializing in Deep Tissue Massage, headache relief and
motor vehicle accident recovery. Steve's postgraduate
studies include visceral manipulation and myofascial
release.
Steve enjoys playing and coaching hockey as well as
studying anatomy. He is married to his high school
sweetheart and has 2 beautiful children, one daughter
and one son. |

Margaret, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant

Margaret
is a Physical Therapy Assistant. She graduated from
Spokane Falls Community College in 2004 with her AA/AAS
from the Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Margaret is a native of California and has lived in
Spokane since 1993. She enjoys spending time with her
three children. |

Linda, PT
Physical Therapist

Linda
is a Physical Therapist with over 20 years of experience
in the field; historically with orthopedics and
expanding her expertise in manual skills. Her special
interests include women's health, integrating her
skills, as well as education. Linda is also a certified
yoga instructor, and has been known to incorporate a
yoga move or two in order to enhance the healing
process.
Linda attended the University of Texas at Austin and
received her BS in Physical Therapy from Southwestern
University in Dallas, Texas in 1985. She has also
completed extensive post graduate training in
orthopedics.
Linda enjoys her personal yoga practice. She promotes
the arts within herself and extends this passion to her
family and friends via dance, music and the visual arts. |

Katrina, LMP
Massage Therapist

Katrina
is a Massage Therapist who went to school at Northwest
Noetic School of Massage in Spokane and graduated in
2005 with an internship in structural integration. She
also completed her yoga teacher training in the summer
of 2008 from Moonyeen's School of Yoga.
Katrina specializes in pregnancy massage, lymphatic
drainage and restorative yoga for healing. She also
works as a birth doula.
In her spare time, Katrina love going to the lake and
making soap, candles, and other folk crafts. |

Charles, PT
Physical Therapist

Charles is a
Physical Therapist who specializes in manual therapy
techniques. Charles holds degrees from the University of
Oregon, BS in Physical Education 1976 and from Stanford
University, MA in Physical Therapy 1978. His experience
ranges from the Naval Hospital San Diego to being the
owner of a small clinic for more than ten years. He is
also a Certified Interactive Metronome practitioner.
Charles is a family man with four children and his
hobbies include golfing and biking. |

Brian, LMP
Massage Therapist

Brian
is a Massage Therapist. He graduated from the Northwest
Noetic School of Massage in Spokane, Washington in 2005.
He began his career specializing in Myofascial Release
and Structural Integration. Brian's special interests
include Osteopathy and Feldenkrais. |

Andrea, LMP
Massage Therapist

Andrea is a
Massage Therapist specializing in manual therapy. She
graduated from Inland Massage Institute in 1997. She has
trained in the Berry Method. Her experience comes from
over 10 years of private practice and clinical practice.
Andrea is currently a student of the Canadian College of
Osteopathy to feed her passion for learning.
Andrea is a mother of two children who enjoys nature and
the creative arts. She is a confirmed "Anatomy Geek"
with the awareness that there is always more to learn.

David
is a Physical Therapist. He graduated in 2005 with a
Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, from the University
of Montana - Missoula. He began his career as a physical
therapist specializing in outpatient orthopedics, manual
therapy and myofascial release. David has also worked in
aquatic therapy, work conditioning and wheelchair
evaluation.
David's hobbies include snowboarding, cycling and
swimming. |

Chuck D.
Physical
Therapist |
Chuck D. was born
and raised in Billings, Montana. He received his
B.S degree in Electrical Engineering and later attended
Eastern Washington University where he studied to become
a Physical Therapist graduating with a B.S. in 1993.
Chuck began his Physical Therapy
career as a traveling therapist working back east.
He later moved to Spokane and worked for Holy Family in
both the outpatient and inpatient therapies. He
then moved on to work for Eagle Rehab, which was quickly
bought out by HealthSouth. Most recently before
coming to Synergy Healthcare, Chuck worked for Visiting
Nurses Association providing in-home health care.
In August, 2009 Chuck joined the
staff at Synergy Healthcare as their Clinical Manager
over both the North and Valley Clinics. In
addition to being a therapist, Chuck enjoys hiking,
skiing and skating with his family.

office. She has worked in health care for more than 20
years.
Tiffany enjoys spending time with family and friends.
When she's not working, she is usually watching her
daughter, niece or nephews play basketball or football,
and do cheerleading. |

When she's not at the clinic, Gayle enjoys volunteering,
traveling, reading, listening to music, and spending
